About Katherine M. Williams
Mrs. Katherine M. Williams is a licensed cosmetologist with over 45 years of professional experience, including years as a successful salon owner. She has also dedicated five years to teaching cosmetology and continues to serve as a substitute teacher in the Pomona Unified School District. Currently, she worked as a Fashion Show Director for Event Show Pro, where she brought her creativity and leadership to life on the runway.
Mrs. Williams is married to Johnnell Williams, widely known as www.MrJShowingTheLOVE.com, the Director of Youth Ministries at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. A devoted missionary, he shares the gospel in Africa through theater and film. Through their two and a half years of dating and over 40 years of marriage, Katherine has learned both how to love and how to be loved. Together, they have shared a beautiful journey of friendship, faith, and family.
They are the proud parents of a daughter and honor the memory of their beloved son, who passed away at 18. Mrs. Williams is also blessed with a wonderful son-in-law and four cherished grandchildren—three amazing grandsons and one sweet “grand girl.” She deeply treasures each of them.
In her leisure time, Katherine enjoys traveling and writing books by the water. Her passion for cosmetology and ministry has taken her to London and Italy, where she studied her craft on an international level while also sharing the Word of God. Her ministry has extended across the U.S., including Boston, Virginia, New York, and numerous cities throughout California such as Lake Arrowhead, Sacramento, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
A woman of unwavering faith, Mrs. Williams accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of five and rededicated her life at eleven. Since then, she has been on fire for God. For 23 years, she served as a 7th and 8th grade Sunday School teacher in both Northern and Southern California. Alongside her husband, she has worked in Youth Ministry and served as President of the Deaconess Ministry for a decade.
Katherine remains actively involved in the Women’s Ministry and leads her own outreach called "Each One Reach One, Each One Teach One," a mentoring program designed to uplift and empower single and married women of God. She is also a sought-after speaker for women’s and youth ministry events.
In addition to her many roles, Mrs. Williams ministers through praise dance under the name "The Silent Servant" and dances with Mt. Zion’s Praise Dance Team, "Glorious." Her life is a testimony of love, resilience, creativity, and unwavering devotion to God.
